NHB Recruitment 2021: The National Horticulture Board (NHB) invites applications for filling up 20 vacant posts of Deputy Director, Senior Horticulture Officer & Horticulture Officer on a Direct Recruitment basis.
1. Deputy Director
No. of posts: 06 [OBC-2, SC-1,ST-1,UR-1 and PwD-1 (OH category)]
Salary: Pay Level-10, Pay Matrix Rs. 56,100-177,500/-
Educational Qualification & Experience:
Graduate in Horticulture/ Agriculture/ Post-harvest Technology/ Agriculture Economics/Agriculture Engineering/Postharvest Management/Food Technology/Food Sciences from a recognized University with 5 years work experience in the related field in an organization of repute.
Age as on the date of closing of applications: Not exceeding 40 years (Relaxation for Government servants up to 5 years in accordance with the instructions or orders issued by the Central Government)
2. Senior Horticulture Officer
No. of posts: 06 [OBC-2 and UR-4]
Salary: Pay Level-6, Pay Matrix Rs. 35,400-112,400/-
Educational Qualification & Experience:
Graduate in Agriculture/ Horticulture/Food Technology/Post Harvest Technology/Agricultural Economics/Agricultural Engineering/Food Sciences from a recognized University with 3 years work experience in the related field in an organization of repute.
Age as on the date of closing of applications: Not exceeding 30 years (Relaxation for Government servants up to 5 years in accordance with the instructions or orders issued by the Central Government)
3. Horticulture Officer
No. of posts: 08 [SC-2, ST-1, OBC-4 and PwD-1 (HH category)]
Salary: Pay Level-6, Pay Matrix Rs. 35,400-112,400/-
Educational Qualification & Experience:
Graduate in Agriculture / Horticulture with Post Graduation in Agriculture/Horticulture from the recognized University.
Age as on the date of closing of applications: Not exceeding 30 years (Relaxation for Government servants up to 5 years in accordance with the instructions or orders issued by the Central Government)
Applying Process for NHB Recruitment 2021:
Eligible and willing candidates may apply in the prescribed format. Applicants already in Govt/Semi Govt/PSUs/Autonomous organizations etc may send their application through proper channels. Cadre authorities/Head of Departments are requested to forward applications of eligible and willing candidates whose services can be spared in the event of their selection immediately. In case of applicants working in Govt/Semi Govt/PSUs/Autonomous organizations etc, applications of such officers would be considered only if those applications are routed through proper channel and are accompanied by the following documents:
- Vigilance Clearance/ Integrity Certificate.
- Photocopies of the ACRs/ APARs for the last five (05 years duly attested on each pages by an officer not below the level of Under Secretary or equivalent.
