1. Name of the Post: Assistant Director (Plant Pathology)
In the Directorate of Plant Protection, Quarantine and Storage, Faridabad, Department of Agriculture, Cooperation and Farmers Welfare, Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare
HQ: Faridabad, Haryana with liability to serve anywhere in India.
No. of Posts: UR-02
Age Limit: 35 years.
Pay Scale: Level- 10 (Rs. 56100 – 177500/-) in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC,
Educational Qualification:
M.Sc. Degree in Plant Pathology or M.Sc. Degree in Agriculture with specialization in Plant Pathology or M.Sc. Degree in Botany with specialization in Plant Pathology from a recognized University or Institution.
EXPERIENCE: Three years of practical experience in the field of study of domestic and or foreign plant diseases related to plant viruses and plant bacteria.
Desirable: Doctorate degree in Plant Pathology from a recognized University or Institution.
2. Name of the Post: Agricultural Engineer (Instrumentation)
In Farm Machinery Training and Testing Institute, Department of Agriculture, Cooperation and Farmers Welfare, Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare
HQ: New Delhi with liability to serve anywhere in India.
No. of Post: OBC-01
Age Limit: 33 years
Pay Scale: Level- 07 (Rs. 44900-142400 /-) in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC,
Educational Qualification:
Degree in Electronics Engineering or Instrumentation Technology from a recognized University or Institute.
EXPERIENCE: Two years experience in the installation, calibration and maintenance of electronics and electrical instruments for automatic measurement and controls, experience in handling strain gauge, sound and vibration equipment, etc. from any government or private (listed) organizations.
3. Name of the Post: Assistant Geologist
In Geological Survey of India, Ministry of Mines
HQ: Kolkata with All India service liability
No. of Posts: 20 (SC-01, ST-03, OBC-02, EWS-02, UR-12).
Age Limit: 30 years
Pay Scale: Level- 08 (Rs. 47600-151100/-) in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC.
Educational Qualification:
Master’s Degree in Geology or Applied Geology or Geo-exploration or Mineral Exploration or Engineering Geology or Geo-chemistry or Marine Geology or Earth Science & Resource Management or Oceanography and Coastal Area Studies (Coastal Geology) or Environmental Geology or Geo-informatics from a recognized University or Institution.
CITIZENSHIP:
A Candidate must be either:
(a) a citizen of India, or
(b) a subject of Nepal, or
(c) a subject of Bhutan, or
(d) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
(e) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, or East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania(formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India. Provided that a candidate belonging to categories (b), (c), (d), and (e) above shall be a person in whose favor a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.
NOTE: The application of a candidate in whose case a certificate of eligibility is necessary, may be considered by the Commission and, if recommended for appointment, the candidate may also be provisionally appointed subject to the necessary certificate being issued in his favor by the Government of India
