UPSC CMS Recruitment 2021 invites online applications from intending eligible candidates for the posts of Junior Scale, Assistant Divisional Medical Officer, General Duty Medical Officer etc. under Combined Medical Services Examination 2021.

Eligibility Criteria for UPSC CMS Recruitment 2021:
- Nationality:
A candidate must be either:
(a) a Citizen of India, or
(b) a subject of Nepal, or
(c) a subject of Bhutan, or
(d) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before the 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India. or
(e) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka or East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire and Ethiopia or from Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India. Provided that a candidate belonging to categories (b), (c), (d) and (e) above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.
A candidate in whose case a certificate of eligibility is necessary may be admitted to the examination but the offer of appointment may be given only after the necessary eligibility certificate has been issued to him by the Government of India.
- Age Limit: A candidate for this examination must not have attained the age of 32 years as of 1st August 2021, i.e. the candidate must have been born not earlier than 2nd August 1989. However, for Junior Time Scale Posts in Central Health Services, the upper age limit must not exceed 35 (thirty-five years) on the aforesaid cut-off date.
- Educational Qualification: For admission to the examination a candidate should have passed the written and practical parts of the final M.B.B.S. Examination.
- Physical and Medical Standards: Candidates must be physically and medically fit according to the physical/medical standards for the Combined Medical Services Examination 2021 as per regulations contained in Appendix III to the Rules of the Examination.

Note: Candidates should note that no request for change of centre will be considered/ granted. All the examination centres for the examination will cater to the examination for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities also.
Applying Process:
Candidates are required to apply online by using the website https://upsconline.nic.in. Candidates will be required to complete the Online Application Form containing two stages viz. Part-I and Part-II as per the instructions available. NO OTHER MODE IS ALLOWED FOR SUBMISSION OF APPLICATION.
Note:
- Applicants should avoid submitting multiple applications. However, if due to any unavoidable circumstances any applicant submits multiple applications then he/she must ensure that the applications with higher RID is complete in all respects.
- The Commission has provided the withdrawal facility from 03.08.2021 to 09.08.2021 (till 6.00 PM) to those candidates who do not want to appear at this Examination.
