Age Limit:
A candidate must have attained the age of 20 years and must not have attained the age of 25 years on 1st August 2023, i.e. he/she must have been born not earlier than 2nd August 1998 and not later than 1st August 2003.
Age Relaxation:
- SC/ ST: 5 years
- OBC: 3 years
- Civilian Central Government Servant: 5 years
Educational Qualifications:
A candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree from a University incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under Section-3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 or possess an equivalent qualification.
Selection Procedure:
The Union Public Service Commission will hold a Written Examination on 06th August 2023 for recruitment of Assistant Commandants (Group A) in the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) viz. Border Security Force (BSF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Central Industrial Security Force(CISF), Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), and Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB).

Candidates are required to apply Online using the link https://www.upsconline.nic.in. It is essential for the applicant to register himself/herself first at the One Time Registration (OTR) platform, available on the Commission’s website, and then proceed for filling up the online application for the examination. OTR has to be registered only once in a lifetime. This can be done anytime throughout the year. If the candidate is already registered, he/she can proceed straightway for filling up the online application for the examination.
