Tezpur University Job 2021: Tezpur University invites applications from intending eligible candidates to fill up for a temporary position of one (01) Research Associate in the ‘Centre of Excellence’ research project funded by the Ministry of Science & Technology, Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of India entitled “Climate Change Impacts and Adaptation for a Climate Resilient North East India” under the National Mission for Sustaining the Himalayan Ecosystem (NMSHE) under the Principal Investigator Dr Ashalata Devi, Department of Environmental Science, Tezpur University.

Fellowship: 47,000 (Rupees forty-seven thousand) only per month plus 8% HRA as admissible if no Accommodation is provided by the Institute.
Essential Qualifications: Candidates should have PhD in Environmental Science and Applied Biological Science
Age limit: The age of the candidates should not be more than 40 years as of the last date of receipt of application. The upper age limit may be relaxed as per Government of India rules.
Duration of the Job: Appointment will be initially for a period of one (01) year, which may be extended further depending upon satisfactory performance of the incumbent and co-terminus with the project or until further order, whichever is earlier. The maximum duration is four (04) years.
