Eligibility Criteria for SSC Stenographer Examination 2024:
Nationality/Citizenship:
- A candidate must be either:
- a citizen of India, or
- a subject of Nepal, or
- a subject of Bhutan, or
- a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
Age Limit:
- Stenographer Grade ‘C’: 18 to 30 years
- Stenographer Grade ‘D’: 18 to 27 years
Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC: 3 years
- PWD: 10 years
Education Qualification:
- Candidates must have passed the 12th standard or equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University as on or before the cut-off date i.e. 17.08.2024.
Selection Procedure:
- Computer Based test
- Skill test in Stenography
- Document Verification
Application Fee:
- OBC/General: Rs.100/-
- SC/ST/PWD/Ex-Serviceman: Nil
