Salary: Level-6 (Rs.35400/-Rs.112400/-) and is classified as Group ‘C’ by Delhi Police
2. Name of the post: Sub-Inspector (GD) {in CAPFs}
No. of posts: 4001 posts
Salary: Level-6 (Rs.35,400/-Rs.1,12,400/-) and is classified as Group ‘B’ (Non-Gazetted), Non-Ministerial.

- BSF: 892 posts [Female-45, Male-847]
- CISF: 1597 posts [Female-160, Male-1437]
- CRPF: 1172 posts [Female-59, Male-1113]
- ITBP: 278 posts [Female-41, Male-237]

Eligibility Criteria for SSC SI Recruitment 2024:
Nationality/Citizenship:
- A candidate must be either:
- a citizen of India, or
- a subject of Nepal, or
- a subject of Bhutan
Age Limit:
- 20 to 25 years
Education Qualification:
- Educational Qualification for all posts is a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university or equivalent. The candidates who have appeared in their Bachelor’s degree or equivalent examination can also apply; however they must possess Essential Qualification on or before the cutoff date; i.e., 01.08.2024.
- For the post of Sub Inspector in Delhi Police for Male candidates only:
- Male candidates must possess a valid Driving License for LMV (Motorcycle and Car) on the date fixed for Physical Endurance and Measurement Tests (PE&MT) to be eligible for the post of Sub Inspector in Delhi Police. The male candidates who do not have a Valid Driving License for LMV (Motorcycle and Car) are eligible for the post of SubInspector in CAPFs only.
