Pay Scale: The salary of SSC Selection Posts varies according to the region and the salary includes various increments, allowances, and perks. The salary ranges from level 1 to 7 and the basic salary for Selection Posts ranges from Rs. 5,200 to Rs. 34,800 where the grade pay ranges from Rs. 1,900 to Rs. 4,800 as the post-wise salary varies.
Educational Qualification:
- Matric Level: Class 10th or High School pass from any recognised board in India
- Intermediate Level: 10+2 or passed Intermediate Exam from any recognised board in India
- Graduate-level: Bachelor’s Degree in Any Stream from a Recognized University in India.
Age Limit (as on 01-01-2023):
- Minimum Age Limit for All: 18 Years
- Maximum Age Limit for 10th/ 12th Level Candidates: 25/27 Years
- Maximum Age Limit for Graduate Level Candidates: 30 Years

Selection Procedure of SSC Selection Post Recruitment 2023:
The SSC Selection Post exam is conducted in three phases:
- Written examination (Objective type Computer-based test)
- Document verification
- Skill Test (where ever needed)

Candidates are required to apply online through the official website https://ssc.nic.in or from the below provided “Apply Online button”. No other mode of application will be accepted.
- Candidates will have to apply for each category of post separately and also pay the fee for each category of post.
- Candidates should apply only once for one category of post.
Application Fee:
- Fee: Rs. 100/-
- For Women, SC, ST, PwD & ESM: Nil
Payment Mode: Through Online Mode (BHIM UPI, Net Banking, by using Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, RuPay Credit or Debit cards or in SBI Branches by generating SBI Challan.)
