RBI JE Recruitment 2023: Reserve Bank of India (RBI) invites online applications from intending eligible Indian Nationals for filling up 35 vacant posts of Junior Engineer (Civil/Electrical).
1. Name of the Post: Junior Engineer (Civil).
No. of Post: 29 [UR- 14, EWS- 1, OBC- 6, SC- 5, ST- 3]
Educational Qualification:
Minimum three years Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognised Institute or University or Board with a minimum of 65% of marks (55% for SC/ST/PwBD) or Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognised University with 55% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwBD).
Experience: At least 2 years experience for Diploma holders or at least 1-year experience for Degree holders in execution and supervision of civil construction work and/ or civil maintenance of office buildings/ commercial buildings/ residential complexes with basic knowledge of RCC design and other civil works, working knowledge of computers, experience in preparation of tenders for civil works, etc or a 1-year graduate apprenticeship training in a PSU
2. Name of the Post: Junior Engineer (Electrical)
No. of Post: 6 [UR- 4, EWS- 0, OBC- 0, SC- 0, ST- 2]
Educational Qualification:
Minimum three years Diploma in Electrical or Electrical and Electronic Engineering from a recognized Institute or University or Board with a minimum 65% of marks (55% for SC/ST/ PwBD) or Degree in Electrical or Electrical and Electronic Engineering from a recognized University with 55% marks (45% for SC/ST/ PwBD).
Experience: At least 2 years experience for Diploma holders or at least 1-year experience for Degree holders in execution and supervision of electrical installations in large buildings/ commercial buildings having HT/ LT substations, central AC plants, lifts, UPS, DG sets, CCTV, Fire alarm system, etc or a 1-year graduate apprenticeship training in a PSU.
Pay Scale:
Selected Candidates will draw a starting basic pay of ₹33,900/- per month (i.e. ₹20,700/- plus nine advance increments admissible to Junior Engineers) in the scale of ₹20700 – 1200 (3) – 24300 – 1440 (4) – 30060 – 1920 (6) – 41580 – 2080 (2) – 45740 – 2370 (3) – 52850 – 2850 – 55700 and other allowances, as admissible from time to time. At present, the initial monthly Gross emoluments for Junior Engineer (Civil/ Electrical) is approximate ₹71,032/.
Age Limit(as on 01/06/2023):
Between 20 and 30 years. Candidates born not earlier than 02/06/1993 and not later than 01/06/2003 (both days inclusive) are only eligible to apply.
Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST candidates- 5 Years
- OBC candidates- 3 Years
- PwBD applicants- 10 years (GEN/EWS), 13 years (OBC) & 15 years (SC/ST).
Selection Procedure for RBI JE Recruitment 2023:
Selection will be through Online Examination and Language Proficiency Test (LPT).
