PHED Assam Recruitment 2021: Public Health Engineering Department, Assam invites online applications from intending eligible candidates for the vacant posts of 111 Junior Engineer (Civil Engineering) under Regulation 3(f) of the Assam Public Service Commission (Limitation of Functions) Regulation, 1951.

Salary: Rs. 14,000/- to 60,500/- and Grade Pay Rs. 8,700/-
Educational Qualification: 3 (three) years Diploma Course in Civil Engineering from an institution recognized by AICTE. Mere acquiring of higher degrees will carry no weightage.
Age Limit:
The candidates should not be less than 18 years of age and not more than 38 years of age as of 01/01/2021.
Age Relaxation:
The upper age limit is relaxable –
i) By 5 years for SC/ST candidates, i.e., up to 43 years
ii) By 3 years for OBC/MOBC candidates i.e., up to 41 years
(iii) For Persons with benchmark disabilities by 10 years irrespective of SC/ST/OBC/MOBC and OC candidates as per Govt. Notification.
The age limit of the candidates will be calculated on the basis of the Matriculation/HSLC Admit Card or Pass Certificate issued by a recognized central/State Board/Council and no other documents shall be accepted in lieu of the mentioned documents.
Eligibility Criteria:
- The candidate must be a permanent resident of Assam.
- The Candidate must produce PRC issued in Assam for educational purposes as proof of residency along with the application form
Or - The candidate must produce a registration certificate of the Employment Exchange in the state of Assam along with the application form.
