PGCIL Recruitment 2021 invites online applications from intending eligible candidates for the 35 posts of Diploma Trainees (Electrical/Civil) for Northern Region-I covering the states of Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Rajasthan, Haryana & Delhi.
1. Diploma Trainee (Electrical)
No. of Posts: 30 [UR-11, OBC (NCL)-7, SC-6, ST-2, EWS-4]
Educational Qualification: Full Time Regular 3 Years Diploma from recognized Technical Board/ Institute with minimum 70% marks for General / OBC(NCL) / EWS candidates and pass marks for SC/ST/PWD. Higher technical qualification like B.Tech/B.E/M.Tech/M.E etc with or without Diploma is not allowed.
Disciplines: Electrical/ Electrical (Power)/ Electrical and Electronics/ Power Systems Engineering/ Power Engineering (Electrical)
Age Limit: Maximum Age (As on 15.06.2021):
- 27 years for General/EWS
- 30 years for OBC(NCL)
- 32 years for SC/ST
2. Diploma Trainee (Civil)
No. of Posts: 05 [UR-02, OBC (NCL)-1, SC-1, ST-0, EWS-1]
Educational Qualification: Full Time Regular 3 Years Diploma from recognized Technical Board/ Institute with minimum 70% marks for General/OBC(NCL)/EWS/ ST candidates and pass marks for SC candidates. Higher technical qualification like B.Tech/B.E/M.Tech/M.E etc with or without Diploma is not allowed.
Discipline: Civil Engineering.
Age Limit: Maximum Age (As on 15.06.2021):
- 27 years for General/ST/EWS
- 30 years for OBC(NCL)
- 32 years for SC
Compensation Package of PGCIL Recruitment 2021:
Stipend during training period: Rs. 27500/- pm
Designation & Level on successful completion of training period: Junior Engineer Gr-IV at S1 level in Supervisory category.
Basic pay on Regularization: Rs.25000/- in the pay-scale of Rs.25000-117500/- (IDA).
Selection Procedure for PGCIL Recruitment 2021:
Written Test/Computer Based Test.
Test Centre: The Computer Based Test shall be held at the following Test Centre’s-
- Delhi
- Jaipur (Rajasthan)
- Dehradun (Uttarakhand)

Note: SC/ST/PwD/Ex-SM/Departmental candidates need not pay the Application Fee regardless of the post being reserved for them or not.
