1. Name of the post: Senior Medical Officer
No. of posts: 01 posts
Age Limit: 50 years
Salary: Level-12 (Rs.78800/-Rs.209200/-)
Education Qualification:
- MBBS Degree or equivalent qualification included in any one of the Schedules to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956) and must be registered in a State Medical Register or Indian Medical Register.
Or - Post Graduate Qualification, preferably MD, in General Medicine, or equivalent qualification included in any one of the Schedules to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956) and must be registered in a State Medical Register or Indian Medical Register
Experience:
- For Post Graduate Degree holders, at least 5 years of regular service as a Medical Officer in PB-3 with a GP of Rs.5400/- or equivalent,
- For MBBS degree holders, at least 10 years experience as a Medical Officer in PB-3 with a GP of Rs.5400/- or equivalent.
Period of Probation:
- 1 year for direct recruits as per NIT Statutes
2. Name of the post: Medical Officer

Age Limit: 35 years
Salary: Level-10 (Rs. 56100/ Rs.177500/-)
Education Qualification:
- MBBS Degree or equivalent qualification included in any one of the Schedules to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956) and must be registered in a State Medical Register or Indian Medical Register
Desirable:
- Post Graduate Qualification, preferably MD in General Medicine, or equivalent qualification included in any one of the Schedules to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956) and must be registered in a State Medical Register or Indian Medical Register
