NIT Andhra Pradesh Recruitment 2021: National Institutes of Technology, Andhra Pradesh invites online applications from the eligible Indian Nationals for the recruitment of 15 vacant positions of Non-Teaching Staff in the Institute.
1. Registrar
No. of Posts: 01 [UR-01, OBC-00, SC-00, PWD-00]
Salary: PB 4 (Rs.37400-67000) with Grade Pay of Rs.10000/-
Educational Qualification: Masters’ degree with at least 55% Marks or its equivalent grade ‘B’ in the UGC 7 point scale from a recognized University/institute.
Experience:
- Holding analogous posts.
- At least 15 year’s experience as Assistant Professor in the AGP of 7000/- and above or with 8 years of service in the AGP of 8000/- and above including as Associate Professor along with 3 years experience in educational administration, or
- Comparable experience in research establishment and /or other institutions of higher education, or
- 15 years of administrative experience, of which 8 years shall be as Deputy Registrar or an equivalent post in the GP of Rs.7600/- or above.

2. Librarian
No. of posts: 01 [UR-01, OBC-00, SC-00, PWD-00]
Salary: PB 4 (Rs.37400-67000) with Grade Pay of Rs.10000/-
Educational Qualification:
Master’s Degree in Library Science/ Information Science/Documentation with CGPA of 6.5 in 10 points scale or at least 60% marks or its equivalent grade of ‘B’ in the UGC seven-point scale and a consistently good academic record set out in these Regulations.
Experience:
- holding analogous post or
- At least ten years’ experience as a Deputy Librarian in the library of technical University, educational institute of national importance, or any other large technical library at least 3 years being spent on a post in PB-4 (Rs.37400 – 67000/- ) with GP of Rs.8700/- or an equivalent post.
- Experience (supported with evidence) of innovative Library service and commitment for computerization of library.

3. Students Activity & Sports (SAS) Officer
No. of posts: 01 [UR-01, OBC-00, SC-00, PWD-00]
Salary: PB – 3 (Rs.15,600 – 39,100/-) with Grade Pay of Rs.5400/-. After Five years of service as SAS Officer with GP of Rs 5400/-, an incumbent will be assessed by Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC) for moving to the higher GP of Rs.6600/- with the same designation.
Educational Qualification: Master’s Degree in Physical Education or Master’s Degree in Sports Science or equivalent degree with at least 60% marks or its equivalent Grade in the CGPA / UGC point scale with good academic record from a recognized University Institute.
Record of having represented the University / College at the inter-University/Inter-Collegiate competitions or the State and/or national championships; Qualifying in the national-level test conducted for the purpose by the UGC or any other agency approved by the UGC and passed the physical fitness test conducted in accordance with these regulations.

4. Students Activity & Sports (SAS) Assistant

Salary: PB -2 (Rs.9,300 – 34,800/-) with Grade Pay of Rs.4200/-
Educational Qualification:
- First Class Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education from a recognized University or Institution.
- Strong record of participation in sports and drama / music / films / painting / Photography / journalism event management or other student/ event management activities during college / University studies.
Age Limit: 30 yrs
5. Junior Engineer
No. of posts: 02 [UR-01, OBC-01, SC-00, PWD-00]
Salary: PB -2 (Rs.9,300 – 34,800/-) with Grade Pay of Rs.4200/-
Educational Qualification:
- First Class B.E. / B. Tech. in Civil/Electrical Engineering from a recognized University or Institute.
OR - First Class Diploma in Civil/Electrical Engineering with the excellent academic record.
Age Limit: 30 yrs
6. Technician
No. of posts: 04 [UR-02, OBC-00, SC-01, PWD-01]
Salary: PB – 1 (Rs.5,200 – 20,200/-) with Grade Pay of Rs.2000/-
Educational Qualification:
- Senior Secondary (10+2) with Science from a Government recognized board with at least 60% marks
Or - Senior Secondary (10+2) from a Government recognized board with at least 50% marks and ITI Course of one year or higher duration in appropriate trade.
Or - Secondary (10) with at least 60% marks and ITI Certificate of 2 years duration in appropriate trade.
Or - Diploma in Engineering of three year’s duration in relevant field from a Government recognized Polytechnic / Institute
Age Limit: 27 yrs
7. Senior Technician

Salary: PB – 1 (Rs.5,200 – 20,200/-) with Grade Pay of Rs.2400/-
Educational Qualification:
- Senior Secondary (10+2) with Science from a Government recognized board with at least 60% marks
Or - Senior Secondary (10+2) from a Government recognized board with at least 50% marks and ITI Course of one year or higher duration in appropriate trade.
Or - Secondary (10) with at least 60% marks and ITI Certificate of 2 years duration in appropriate trade.
Or - Diploma in Engineering of three year’s duration in relevant field from a Government recognized Polytechnic / Institute
Age Limit: 33 yrs
8. Junior Assistant
No. of posts: 04 [UR-02, OBC-01, SC-01, PWD-00]
Salary: PB – 1 (Rs.5,200 – 20,200/-) with Grade Pay of Rs.2000/-
Educational Qualification: Senior secondary (10+2) from a recognized board with a minimum Typing speed of 35 w.p.m. and proficiency in Computer Word Processing and SpreadSheet.
Desirable: Proficiency in other computer skills, stenography skills.
Age Limit: 27 yrs
Selection Procedure for NIT Andhra Pradesh Recruitment 2021:
For the posts against S.No. 1 & 2, selection will be based on the interview. And for the posts against S.No. 3-8, Selection will be done in two phases i.e Written Examination and/or Skill Test/ Physical Test /Proficiency Test based on the nature of the post.
No TA/DA will be paid for attending the Examination/ Test/ Interview.
