NIAB Recruitment 2021: National Institute of Animal Biotechnology (NIAB), Hyderabad invites online applications from intending eligible candidates for filling up various positions against the DBT funded project entitled “Socio-economic upliftment of landless and marginal farmers of Yadgir district (an aspirational district) of Karnataka through goat rearing” at the National Institute of Animal Biotechnology (NIAB), Hyderabad.
1. Name of the Project: Project Associate-II
No. of Post: 01 (One post)
Eligibility:
- MSc (LifeSciences/ Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/ Microbiology)/ Post Graduate Degree in Business Administration (MBA) / Veterinary Sciences (MVSc) with NET qualification or,
- Non-NET-qualified candidates with a post-graduate degree in the above-mentioned disciplines can also apply; who will be paid as per DST guidelines.
Desired Experience: Candidate having 2 years experience of working on socio-economic aspect of rural development and ability to develop nanocarriers for delivery of nutrient will be given
preference.
Age: 35 years (Relaxation is admissible in case of SC/ST/OBC candidates as per Government instructions)
Fellowship amount: Rs 35,000 + 24 % HRA as per the DST guidelines.
2. Name of the Post: Project Associate-I
No. of Post: 03 (Three posts)
Eligibility:
- MSc (Life Sciences/ Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/ Microbiology)/ Post Graduate Degree in Veterinary Science (MVSc) with NET qualification or,
- Non-NET-qualified candidates with a post-graduate degrees in Life Sciences can also apply; who will be paid as per DST guidelines.
Desired Experience: Candidates with experience in Molecular biology/ Genomics/ Genome sequencing/ Animal Genetics and breeding/ Nanotechnology and having the expertise to work with large animal models will be given preference.
Age: 35 years (Relaxation is admissible in case of SC/ST/OBC candidates as per Government instructions)
Fellowship amount: Rs.31000/-PM+24% HRA as per the DST guidelines.
3. Name of the Post: Field Assistant
No. of Post: 04 (Four Posts)
Eligibility:
Intermediate with Diploma in animal husbandry or veterinary sciences
Desired Experience: Candidates with experience in large animal handling, large animal breeding and management of goats with the ability to speak English, Kannada, Hindi and Telugu will be given preference.
Age: 30 years (Relaxation is admissible in case of SC/ST/OBC candidates as per Government instructions)
Fellowship amount: Rs.20,000/-PM+24% HRA as per the DST guidelines
Selection Procedure:
Suitable candidates will be screened, intimated through email and interviewed by duly constituted selection committee through online.
