NEIGRIHMS Recruitment 2021: North Eastern Indira Gandhi Regional Institute of Health & Medical Sciences (NEIGRIHMS) invite online(email) application for urgent requirements of Assistant Professor and in the interest of patient care, teaching & training of the department, the Institute proposes to urgently fill-up the following vacant posts of Assistant Professor in various departments purely on Adhoc basis.
Name of the Post: Assistant Professor
1.Speciality: Anaesthesiology
No. of Posts: 4 (four) 3UR, 1EWS
Educational Qualification:
i. A medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or part-II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (person possessing qualifications included in the part-II of the third schedule should also fulfil the conditions specified in the subsection (3) of section 13 of the Act.
ii. A postgraduate qualification e.g. M.D/M.S or
iii. a recognised qualification equivalent thereto in the respective discipline/subject.
iv. Three years teaching and/or research experience in recognized Institution in the subject of speciality after obtaining the qualifying degree of MD/MS or a qualification recognised equivalent thereto.
v. The candidate must be registered with the Central/ State Medical Council
2. Speciality: General Medicine
No. of Post: 1 (one) OBC
Educational Qualification:
i. A medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or part-II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (person possessing qualifications included in the part-II of the third the schedule should also fulfil the conditions specified in the subsection (3) of section 13 of the Act.
ii. A Postgraduate qualification e.g MD or a recognised qualification equivalent thereto in the respective discipline/subject.
iii. Three years teaching and /or research experience in recognized Institution in the subject of specialty after obtaining the qualifying degree of MD or qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
iv. The candidate must be registered with the Central/State Medical Council
3. Speciality: General Surgery
No. of Post: 2 (two) (1SC*, 1OBC*)

iii. Three years teaching and /or research experience in recognised Institution in the subject of speciality after obtaining the qualifying degree of MS or qualification recognised equivalent thereto.
iv. The candidate must be registered with the Central/State Medical Council.
4. Speciality: Hospital Administration
No. of Post: 1(one) UR
i. A medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or part-II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (person possessing qualifications included in the part-II of the third schedule should also fulfil the conditions specified in the subsection (3) of section 13 of the Act.
ii. A postgraduate qualification e.g. M.D or a recognised qualification equivalent thereto in the respective discipline/subject.
Or
Master’s Degree in Hospital Administration from a recognized Institution/University qualification equivalent thereto.
iii . Three years teaching and/or research experience in recognized Institution in the subject of speciality after obtaining the qualifying degree of MD or qualification recognised equivalent thereto.
v. The candidate must be registered with the Central/State Medical Council.
5. Speciality: Medical Oncology
No. of Post: 2 (two) UR
Educational Qualifications:
i. A medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or part-II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (person possessing qualifications included in the part-II of the third schedule should also fulfil the conditions specified in the sub section (3) of the section 13 of the Act.
ii. D.M (2 years or3 years or 5 years recognized course) or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto in the respective discipline subject.
iii. One-year teaching and/or research experience in a recognized institution in the subject of speciality after obtaining the qualifying degree of D.M (2 years or 5 years course recognized after MBBS) in the respective discipline/subject or qualification recognised equivalent thereto. However, no experience is necessary for the candidates possessing the 3 years recognized degree of D.M or qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
iv. The candidate must be registered with the Central/State Medical Council.
6. Speciality: Nephrology
No. of Post: 2 (two) UR
Educational Qualifications:
i. A medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or part-II of the third schedule to the IndianMedical Council Act of 1956 (person possessing qualifications included in the part-II of the third schedule should also fulfil the conditions specified in the sub section (3) of section 13 of the Act.
ii. D.M (2 years or3 years or 5 years recognized course) or qualification recognised equivalent thereto in the respective discipline subject.
iii. One year teaching and / or research experience in a recognized institution in the subject of speciality after obtaining the qualifying degree of D.M (2 years or 5 years course recognized after MBBS) or qualification recognized equivalent thereto. However, no experience is necessary for the candidates possessing the 3 years recognized degree of D.M or qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
iv.The candidate must be registered with the Central/State Medical Council.
7. Speciality: Neurosurgery

No. of Post: 2 (two) 1UR, 1OBC (1 post reserved for OH)
Educational Qualifications for NEIGRIHMS Recruitment 2021:
i. A medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or part-II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (person possessing qualifications included in the part-II of the third schedule should also fulfil the conditions specified in the sub section (3) of the section 13 of the Act.
ii.M.Ch. (2 years or 3 years or 5 years recognised course) or qualification recognised equivalent thereto in the respective discipline/ subject.
iii. One-year teaching and/or research experience in a recognized Institution in the subject of specialty after obtaining the qualifying degree of M.Ch. (2 years or 5 years course recognized after MBBS) or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto. However, no experience is necessary for the candidates possessing the 3 years recognized degree of M.Ch. or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
iv.The candidate must be registered with the Central/State Medical Council.
Pay Scale: Assistant Professor: Level 12 (`101500-`167400) as per 7th CPC with minimum pay `101500/- + NPA per month and other allowances as admissible)
Age: Not exceeding 50 years.
