NEEPCO Apprentice Recruitment 2023: North Eastern Electric Power Corporation Limited, a Schedule –‘A’ “Mini Ratna” Category-I Central Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Power, Government of India and a fully owned subsidiary of NTPC, engaged in planning, designing & executing power projects in hydro, thermal & Solar Sector.

NEEPCO invites online application from inteng eligible candidates to engage 75 (Seventy Five) apprentices for FY 2023-24 under the Apprenticeship Act 1961 for a period of one year apprenticeship training in the following trades for its different Stations/Projects/ Establishments:

Eligibility criteria:

• The candidate should be a resident of North East India
• For Graduate Engineering & Diploma Engineering, the candidate should have completed his / her
• Graduation / Diploma not before 1st June, 2022
• For ITI Trade Apprentices, the candidate should have completed ITI course.
• The candidate must have Aadhaar Card (compulsory) / Pan Card/ Voter ID Card/ Passport which is required for online registration
• Age limit: 18-28 years. (Age relaxation is allowed for Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe/ Other Backward Classes/ Persons with Disability/ Ex-servicemen, as per applicable Govt. of India rules.

Selection Procedure:

• Eligible candidates for various categories will be sourced / extracted from the data base of the apprenticeship portals.
• Selection shall be based on merit as per mark secured in the degree/ diploma course as mentioned against each Apprentice posts.
• First preference shall be given to candidates belonging to the State in which the Power Station (s) is/ are located. After allocation of seats to candidates belonging to the state, if no sufficient candidates are found; selection for rest nos. of seats shall be based on the merit as per marks secured in the Graduation / diploma engineering course by the candidates belonging to other NE states of domicile.

How to Apply for NEEPCO Apprentice Recruitment 2023:

For Graduate Engineering & Diploma Engineering:

1. Step I
   • The Candidates must get himself / herself enrolled / registered with Board of Practical Training (BOPT), through online enrolment at National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS), in www mhrdnats.gov.in/. and poses a valid enrolment ID generated after successful enrolment.
   • For instance, there may be candidates who possess qualification of both B.Tech and Diploma. If he/ she apply against Technician (Diploma)/ Graduate , the training slots, he/she must register as either Diploma or graduate only in the NATS portal (www.mhrdnats.gov.in)
2. Step II
   • After successful online registration at t www.mhrdnats.gov.in and receipt of a valid enrolment ID, the candidate is advised to log in using your registered ID and Password can apply against the following Establishment of NEEPCO and opt for the desired stream in line with fulfilment of educational qualifications and eligibility criteria.

For Non-Engineering Graduate or equivalent in general streams such as B.A, B.Sc & B.Com:

1. Step I
   • The Candidates must get himself / herself enrolled / registered with Board of Practical Training (Eastern Region) (BOPTER) through online enrolment in https://portalbopter.com/ and poses a valid enrolment ID generated after successful enrolment
2. Step II
   • After successful online registration at https://portalbopter.com/ and receipt of a valid enrolment ID, the candidate is advised to log in using your registered ID and Password and apply against any one of the following Establishment of NEEPCO and opt for the desired stream in line with fulfilment of educational qualifications and eligibility criteria.

For ITI Trade Apprentice (Boiler attendant, Electrician, Lineman, Plumber &Fitter)

1. Step I
   • Candidates must apply online at National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (NAPS (www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in) and no other mode of application will be accepted.
2. Step II
   • The Candidates must get himself / herself enrolled / registered with National Promotion Scheme (NAPS), through online enrolment at www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in and poses a valid enrolment ID generated after successful enrolment.
