The course will commence in Oct 2024 at the Pre-Commissioning Training Academy (PCTA).

Eligibility Criteria for Indian Army SSC Tech Recruitment 2024:
- a citizen of India, or
- a subject of Nepal, or
- a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, and the East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire Ethiopia, and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India

- For SSC(Tech)-63 Men and SSCW(Tech)-34 Women: 20 to 27 years
- For Widows of Indian Armed Forces Defence Personnel: 35 years

Education Qualification:
- Candidates who have passed the requisite Engineering Degree course or are in the final year of the Engineering Degree course are eligible to apply. Candidates studying in the final year of the Engineering degree course should be able to submit proof of passing the Engineering Degree Examination along with mark sheets of all semesters/years by 01 OCT 2024 and produce the Engineering Degree Certificate within 12 weeks from the date of commencement of training at PreCommissioning Training Academy (PCTA). Such candidates will be inducted on an Additional Bond Basis for recovery of the cost of training at the Pre-Commissioning Training Academy (PCTA) as notified from time to time as well as stipend and pay & allowances paid, in case they fail to produce the requisite degree certificate.
- For Widows of Indian Armed Forces Defence personnel:
- SSCW (Non-Tech) (Non-UPSC): Graduation in any Discipline.
- SSCW (Tech): B.E. / B. Tech in any Engineering stream

- The Document is to be attested by an officer ex MP Directorate (MP5 & 6), IHQ of MoD (Army) for officers and by the Concerned Record office for JCO/OR. The envelope containing the application should be superscribed in Red ink clearly indicating the name of Offr/JCO/OR with rank. For example, “Widows of late -_”. These candidates will apply OFFLINE directly to Rtg ‘A’(WE) section, Dte Gen of Rtg, AG’s Branch, Integrated HQ, Ministry of Defence (Army), West Block-III, R K Puram, New Delhi- 110066, provided they possess the laid down educational qualification and meet specified selection criteria. The last date for receipt of such Offline applications at Dte Gen of Rtg duly completed in all respects is 08 Mar 2024 i.e. 15 days after the last date of closing of online applications. Applications received after the last date/ incomplete applications will not be accepted.
