It’s a notification from the Director of Higher Education, Govt of Assam, in order to process the Admission of students into the HS First Year course for the Academic session 2021-22 in different Institutions (Universities/Colleges/Schools) under the AHSEC.
Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) has been developed a common admission portal “DARPAN” for admission into HS First Year (Arts/ Science/ Commerce) Courses, for the convenience of both the institution as well as students.

HS First Year Registration and Admission Process:
- Admission portal of AHSEC www.darpan.ahseconline.in shall be the common admission portal for all educational institutions to conduct admission.
- All Students shall have to register themselves in the portal using their Roll No. and choose a maximum of five institutions in order of their preference for admission. The data of Student Passed in HSLC/ AHM Examination 2021 and Class X Passed students of CBSE shall be pre-loaded in the portal.
- The educational institutions shall be able to choose students from the portal and on getting approval from the institution, the students shall be able to lock their choice and take the admission.
- All educational institutions admitting students in HS First Year (Arts/ Science/ Commerce) Courses shall have to provide admission only through the portal of AHSEC and not by any offline process.
