Education Qualification & Experience:
- PhD with first class or equivalent at the preceding degree in an appropriate branch with consistent and very good academic record.
- Post PhD teaching experience of a minimum of ten years in an academic institution/ university/college of which, 4 years as Associate Professor / equivalent or comparable research experience at equivalent level at the University/National Level Institutions with evidence of having successfully guided doctoral candidate.
OR - Post-PhD experience of a minimum of ten years in a research organization/industry, with significant contribution to the knowledge in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline, supported by documentary evidence.
2. Name of the post: Associate Professor

Age Limit: 45 years
Salary: Academic Pay Level 13A of 7th CPC and allowances as applicable

Desirable Qualifications and Experience for All Positions:
- Education qualifications from IITs/ IISc Bangalore/ IIMs /IISERs / the top 50 NIRF 2020 or top 500 QS /THE World University Ranking Institute/ University (i) Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) (ii) the Times Higher Education (THE) or (iii) the Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU) of the Shanghai Jiao Tong University (Shanghai).
- Exposure to new institution building and active participation in institutional initiatives and student affairs
- Experience with various teaching pedagogies including online teaching.
- Proficiency in the use of technology in teaching and professional work
- Exposure to working with global partner universities and international faculty on joint projects and research
- Experience in projects and collaboration with industry partners
- Execution of projects with research grants from DST, CSIR, etc.
