Gauhati High Court Recruitment 2023: Gauhati invites online applications from intending eligible candidates for recruitment of 141 Stenographer Grade-II & III and Court Manager vacancies under Gauhati High Court.
1. Name of the Post: Stenographer Grade-II
No of posts: 34
Age Limit: The candidate’s age should not be less than 18 years and not more than 40 years as of the last date of application. The upper age limit may be relaxed as per Government of India rules.
Educational Qualification:
- The candidate must be a graduate of a UGC-recognized University as of the date of advertisement.
- Should possess a Diploma/Certificate in Stenography/ Shorthand from ITI/ Polytechnic/ any other institute. Candidates who are pursuing Stenography/ Shorthand may also apply. However, they must submit a pass/ completion certificate/diploma to the High Court at the time of document verification, unless otherwise decided by the High Court.
- Must have adequate knowledge of the official language (Assamese) of the State of Assam.
- The candidate must possess an Employment exchange registration number for the state of Assam.
2. Name of the Post: Stenographer Grade-III
No of posts: 96

- The candidate who has passed the H.S. examination from any recognized Board/ Council/ University as of the date of advertisement.

However, they must submit a pass/completion certificate/diploma to the High Court at the time of document verification, unless otherwise decided by the High Court.

3. Name of the Post: Court Manager
No of posts: 11 [UR: 03, OBC/MOBC: 06, STP: 01 & STH: 01]
Age Limit: The candidate’s age should not be less than 25 years and not more than 38 years as on the last date of application. The upper age limit may be relaxed as per Government of India rules.
Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor’s Degree in any stream with a Master’s in Business Administration or Advanced Diploma in General Management from a University or Institution in India recognized by the University Grants Commission.
- 5 (five) years of working experience in Process Management or I.T. Systems Management Human Resources Management or Financial Management.
- Good computer application skills having at least 6 months’ diploma in Computer Application.
- Candidate must have a valid Employment Exchange registration number for the state of Assam.
