The Central University of Jharkhand invites online applications from intending candidates for admission in the M. TECH./MBA programs /course/subjects offered by the University through valid GATE/CAT score in the Academic Session 2021-22.
Courses offered through GATE/CAT Score at CUJ Admission 2021:
1. Master in Business Administration (MBA)
Total No. of seats: 66 [Sixty-Six]
Eligibility Criteria for Applying to the Program:
- An applicant must have a valid CAT-2020 percentile / score.
- Qualifying Examination: Bachelors’ Degree of minimum 3 years duration in any discipline with a minimum 50% marks or equivalent grade in aggregate for Unreserved Category (UR) and Relaxation as per GOI Norms to the reserved category Candidates. (45% or equivalent grade in aggregate for SC/ST/OBC {non creamy layer (NCL)}/ DAP in the qualifying examination).
- For the applications and selection for MBA Program 2021, we will consider CAT 2020 percentile / scores ONLY as valid for admission for the year 2021 applications to account for the COVID situation in 2021.

Eligibility Criteria for Applying to the Program:
- An applicant must have valid GATE score
- Qualifying Examination:
M. Tech. in Energy Engineering:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Technology in Energy Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical Engineering, Chemical science and Technology, Engineering Physics, Nanoscience and Nanotechnology, Materials Science with a minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade in aggregate for General Category and 55% or equivalent grade in aggregate for SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer)/ PWD.
OR
M. Sc. in Physics, Chemistry, Materials science, Nanoscience and Nanotechnology or equivalent with a minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade in aggregate for General Category and 50% f or equivalent grade in aggregate or SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer)/ PWD.
-The candidates must have valid GATE score in following papers: Mechanical Engineering, Chemical engineering, and Electrical engineering, Physics, Chemistry and Engineering Sciences
M. Tech. in Nanotechnology:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Technology in Material Science and Engineering, Nanoscience and Nanotechnology/ Nanotechnology/ Mechanical Engineering/ Chemical Engineering/Electrical Engineering/ Ceramic Engineering/ Metallurgical and Materials and Technology/Biotechnology with or other relevant branch of Engineering & Technology a minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade in aggregate for General Category and 55% or equivalent grade in aggregate for SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer)/PWD .
OR
M Sc. in Nanoscience/ Nanoscience and Technology/Chemistry/ Physics/ Material Sciences/ Life Sciences/ Applied Sciences/Biotechnology or other allied subjects with a minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade in aggregate for General Category and 50% or equivalent grade in aggregate for SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer)/ PWD .
-The candidates must have valid GATE score in following papers: Metallurgical Engineering (MT), Biotechnology (BT), Chemical Engineering (CH), EE, EC, ME, Physics (PH), Engineering Sciences (XE), Chemistry (CY),
M. Tech. in Transport Science and Technology:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Technology in Civil/Civil and Environmental Engineering/Urban and Regional Planning/Architectural Engineering/ Environmental Engineering with a Minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade in aggregate for General Category and 50% or equivalent grade in aggregate for SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer)/ PWD.
-The candidates must have valid GATE score in following papers: Civil Engineering/Architecture and Planning/ Environmental Science and Engineering
M. Tech. in Computer Science and Technology:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Technology (IT/CS/CSE) or an equivalent degree in an appropriate area or M. Sc (Computer Science/ Information Technology) or MCA with a minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade in aggregate for General Category and 50% or equivalent grade in aggregate for SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer)/ PWD.
-The candidates must have valid GATE score in following paper: Computer Science and Information Technology (CS)
M. Tech. in Water Engineering & Management:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Technology in Civil/Agricultural Engineering with a minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade in aggregate for General Category and 50% or equivalent grade in aggregate for SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer)/ PWD.

Candidate(s) satisfying the above conditions and desirous to take admission, must participate in the online registration process at www.cuj.ac.in. Candidate(s)is/are advised to complete the registration process as per the schedule as notified on the University website.
