Coal India Limited Recruitment 2021: COAL INDIA LIMITED (CIL) – a Schedule ‘A’ – MAHARATNA Public Sector Undertaking under Ministry of Coal, Government of India with Corporate Hqrs., at Kolkata is the single largest coal producing company in the world and one of the largest corporate employers of the country with manpower of 2.55 Lakhs approximately. It operates 345 mines in 85 mining areas across eight provincial states in India (West Bengal, Jharkhand, Orissa, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Uttar Pradesh & Assam).

CIL invites online applications from intending young, energetic and dynamic persons for the post of MANAGEMENT TRAINEE to fill 588 vacant positions in the various disciplines on the basis of GATE-2021 Scores.

Salary: Selected candidates will be placed as Management Trainee in E-2 Grade on the scale of pay of 50,000 – 1, 60,000/- at the initial Basic of 50,000/- per month during the training period.

POSTING: Candidates may be posted anywhere in Subsidiary companies including Coalfield areas. Only candidates willing to serve anywhere in India need apply.

Educational Qualification:

• Management Trainee (Mining/ Electrical/ Mechanical/ Civil/ Industrial Engineering): BE/ B.Tech/ B.Sc. (Engg.) in relevant branch of Engineering with minimum 60% marks.
• Management Trainee ( Geology): M.Sc. / M.Tech. in Geology or Applied Geology or Geophysics or Applied Geophysics with minimum 60% marks.

Note:

1. B.E. / B. Tech / B.Sc. (Engg.) / M.Sc. / M. Tech must be from a University/Institute recognized by appropriate statutory authority in India and should be a regular full-time course.
2. The minimum qualifying marks for GENERAL (UR), OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) & Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) category candidates are 60%. For SC, ST and Persons with Disability (PwD) candidates, relaxation of 5% is given in the minimum qualifying marks i.e. 55%.
3. Only Indian Nationals are eligible to apply.
4. All qualifications should be recognized by AICTE / UGC / appropriate Indian Statutory Authorities.

Age Limit:

The Upper Age Limit is 30 Years as of 04-August-2021 for General (UR) & EWS category candidates.

Age Relaxation:

• OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) – 3 Years
• SC/ST – 5 Years

For Persons with Disabilities:

Selection Process for Coal India Limited Recruitment 2021:

Eligible candidates must have appeared for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) – 2021). Based on the GATE-2021 Scores/Marks and requirement, candidates will be shortlisted discipline-wise, category-wise in a ratio of 1:1.50 for the further selection process. The final merit list will be prepared for each discipline on the basis of GATE-2021 Scores/Marks. Please note that for Management Trainee Recruitment of 2021 (MT-2021) of Coal India Limited, GATE Score Scores/Marks of 2021 will only be valid and GATE Score/Marks of 2020 or prior to that is not valid.

Similarly, the final list of selected candidates will be uploaded to the CIL website and they will be intimated about Documents Verification (DV) & Initial Medical Examination (IME) through the CIL website and their registered E-mail Id only.
