CEE 2023: Assam Combined Entrance Examination (CEE) is a state-government-controlled centralized entrance examination, conducted by the Assam Science and Technology University (ASTU), Guwahati, for admission into 1st Semester of B.Tech. Programs in the Engineering Colleges of Assam, for the Academic Session 2023-24.

Name of the Examination: Assam Combined Entrance Examination (CEE- 2023)
Name of Exam Conducting Organization: Assam Science and Technology University (ASTU), Guwahati
Mode of Examination: Pen & Paper-based Test, to be answered on the specially designed machine gradable Optical Mark Reader (OMR) sheet using Ball Point Pen.
Medium of Examination: 2 languages i.e. English and Assamese.
Duration of Test: The duration of the test would be three (03) hours.
Date of Examination: 28th May 2023 (Sunday)
Examination Timing: 11:00 AM – 02:00 PM
Eligibility Criteria for Assam CEE 2023:
Age Limit: The Candidate must not be below 17 years or above 21 years of age as of 1st August 2023.
Age Relaxation: B.Sc. passed: 01 and SC/ST: 03
Resident-ship: The Candidate must be an Indian Citizen and a Permanent resident of Assam with a valid PRC of Assam issued by the competent authority.
Educational Qualification:
Candidate must pass the Qualifying Examination (10+2 standard) in a single sitting, without any grace marks in the subjects of Physics, English, Chemistry, and Mathematics with a minimum of 50 % (45 % in case of SC and 40 % in case of ST) of marks in all the four subjects.
Application Fees:
Application Fee of Rs.1000/- is to pay online, which facilitates payment through a Debit Card/ Credit Card/ Net Banking. The fee once paid, is not refundable.
