- Candidates must be Permanent Residents of Assam.
- The candidates who have passed ATET/ CTET for LP/ UP will be eligible to apply.
- Language: The Language -1 of Assam Teacher Eligibility Test (ATET)/CTET & BTC TET of the candidates shall match the medium of the school, where
Age Limit:
- UR: 18 to 40 years
- Ex-Serviceman: 42 years
- OBC/MOBC: 43 years
- SC/ST(P)/ST(H): 45 years
- PWD: 50 years
Education Qualification:
- Assistant Teacher UP School:
- Higher Secondary/Senior Secondary (or its equivalent)
- Graduate from the UGC-recognized University
AND - 2years Diploma in Elementary Education(By whatever name know)
OR - Bachelor of Education or Bachelor of Elementary Education
AND - Assam TET or Central TET for Upper Primary school
Non-Essential: - NCC Certificate-5 marks for C Certificate and 3 marks for B Certificate
OR - 5 marks for participation/achievement in recognized sports at the National Level or beyond representing the State or Nation
OR - 5 marks for participating/achieving in recognized Fine Arts and Culture Activities representing the State at the National Level or beyond the State National (Organised by recognized situations)
- Science Teacher UP School:
- Higher Secondary/Senior Secondary (or its equivalent)
- B.SC.from the UGC-recognized University
AND - 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name Known)
OR
Bachelor of Education or Bachelor of Elementary Education
AND - Assam TET or Central TET for Upper Primary school
