BEL Recruitment 2021: Bharat Electronics Limited invites online applications from intending eligible candidates for the post of Trainee Engineer on a contractual basis for its Military Communication SBU, Bengaluru Complex.
Trainee Engineer–I
No. of Posts: 30 [GEN- 12, OBC- 8, SC- 4, ST- 3, EWS- 3]
Consolidated remuneration per month:
1st Year – Rs. 25,000/-
2nd Year – Rs. 28,000/-
3rd Year – Rs. 31,000/-
Educational Qualification: Full time (4 years) BE/B.Tech course from reputed Institute/University in the following Engineering disciplines –Electronics/Electronics & Communication/ E&T/ Telecommunication. First Class in the indicated qualification for General, OBC, and EWS candidates and Pass Class for SC, ST, and PWD candidates. Candidates must attach CGPA to the percentage conversion method.
Experience as of 01.04.2021:
Candidates should have a minimum of 6 (Six) months of post qualification industry experience in the following areas is desirable:
- Experience/Knowledge on:
a. Ethernet communication 10Mbps to 10Gpbs, LAN & WAN Concepts
b. Ethernet Layers (TCP/IP), IPv4, IPv6
c. Switching equipment like Routers, Switches, Hubs, Etc
d. Ethernet & Optical Test Instruments
e. TDM, PDH(E1-E4), SDH(STM-1to STM-64) Communication
f. Voltage regulators, Inverters, Batteries used in communication equipment
g. EMI/EMC standards and testing methodologies. - Responsibilities
a. Main Activity: Installation and commissioning of projects in Field on pan India basis especially in north-east India and J&K.
b. Other related activities: Develop Test Setups for Testing of PCB/Module/ Unit Level
c. Develop ATEs (Automatic Test Equipments) for Hardware Testing using automation tools like Boundary Scan/Flying Probe tester/LABView, etc
d. Testing & Troubleshooting of in house designed embedded (FPGA based) PCBs/Modules/Systems
e. Offering of Equipment to the customer for Quality Checks.
Age Criteria for BEL Recruitment 2021:
Upper Age Limit: Upper age limit is 25 years as on 01.04.2021.
Relaxations: The upper age limit will be relaxable for SC/ST candidates by 5 years and for OBC candidates by 3 years. For candidates belonging to the PWD category having a minimum of 40% disability or more will get 10 years’ relaxation.
Note: 3% of the posts will be reserved for Persons with Disability (PWD).
Job Locations:
The initial posting is in BEL Bangalore. However, majorly, candidates should be willing to travel extensively throughout India for all field-level activities.
Only those candidates who are willing to travel may apply. The field activities are located in pan India including North-East India and J&K.
Selection Procedure for BEL Recruitment 2021:
Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria w.r.t. qualification and experience will be allotted weightage as follows:
- Aggregate Marks secured in BE/B.Tech:-75%.
- Relevant Post Qualification experience: 2.5 marks will be allocated for the minimum experience stipulated for the post. 1.25 marks will be allocated for every additional experience of 6 months subject to a maximum of 10 marks:-10%.
- Interview for shortlisted candidates:-15%.
