1. Name of the Post: Additional Secretary
No. of posts: 01 posts
Age Limit: 50 to 55 years
Salary: Rs.30000/-Rs.110000/- plus GP Rs.17500/-P.M in Pay Band 4 and other admissible allowances
Education Qualification:
- Minimum 7 years of experience as Joint Secretary or equivalent in any Govt. Department of Assam.
- Must have sound knowledge of Constitutional Law and Parliamentary Practice & Procedure.
- A person possessing Degree of Bachelor of Law from any recognized University shall be given preference.
2. Name of the Post: Protocol Officer
No. of posts: 01 posts
Age Limit: 35 to 40 years
Salary: Rs.30000/-Rs.110000/- plus GP Rs.14500/-P.M in Pay Band 4 and other admissible allowances
Education Qualification:
- The Candidate must possess a Master’s Degree in any discipline with a minimum of 60% marks from any recognized University.
- The candidate must have 4 years of working experience in any Govt./Semi Govt. Office/Organization.
- The candidate having a degree in Tourism & Hospitality Management will be given preference.
- The candidate must have a good command of English, Assamese & Hindi language.
3. Name of the Post: Language Reporter (Grade II)
No. of posts: 02 posts
Age Limit: 21 to 38 years
Salary: Rs.22000/-Rs.97000/- plus GP Rs.9400/-P.M in Pay Band-3 and other admissible allowances
Education Qualification:
- The candidate should possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Science/Commerce from any recognized University.
- No candidate shall be eligible to sit for the Speed Test at 100 w.p.m. in Assamese unless the candidate has a Certificate of Stenography in Assamese with 80 w.p.m. from any Institute recognized by the Govt. of Assam.
- The candidate must have adequate knowledge of Computer applications with DTP in Assamese.
4. Name of the Post: Assistant Librarian
No. of posts: 01 posts
Age Limit: 21 to 38 years
Salary: Rs.14000/-Rs.70000/- plus GP Rs.8700/- P.M. in Pay Band-2 and other admissible allowances
Education Qualification:
- The candidate must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Library Science from any recognized University.
- The candidate must have 5 (five) years of experience dealing with Library Management in a reputed Institution/ Organization/Govt. Office and have practical knowledge of Digital Libraries.
5. Name of the Post: Stenographer Grade-III (English)
No. of posts: 02 posts
Age Limit: 21 to 38 years
Salary: Rs.14000/-Rs.70000/- plus GP Rs.8700/- P.M. in Pay Band-2 and other admissible allowances
Education qualification:
- The candidate should possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Science/Commerce from any recognized University.
- No candidate shall be eligible to sit for the Speed Test at 80 w.p.m. in English unless the candidate has a Certificate in Stenography from ITI in Assam or any other Institute recognized by Govt. of Assam/ Govt. of India.
- The candidate must have adequate knowledge of Computer Applications and a good command of the English Language.
