Eligibility Criteria for Assam Public Service Commission Jobs 2024:
- Citizenship:
- Candidates must be Indian Citizens as defined in Articles 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India.
- Residentship:
- The candidate must be a permanent resident of Assam.
- The candidate must produce a PRC issued in Assam for educational purposes, an Employment Exchange Registration certificate as proof of residency, and the application form.
- Employment Exchange Registration:
- Candidates must register themselves in any of Assam’s employment exchanges.
- The Small Family Norms:
- As per Govt, notification No. ABP,69/2019/17, dated Dispur, the 6th November 2019, the candidate has to submit a declaration regarding “The Small Family Norms” in Form – A at the time of applying for the post.
Salary: Rs.30,000 – Rs.110000/- Plus Grade Pay Rs. 12,700/- Pay Band – 4
Age Limit:
- 21 to 38 years
Education Qualification:
- A candidate must be an advocate enrolled under the Advocate’s Act, 1961 who has been practicing such for at least 3 years.
OR - A Judicial officer of at least 3 (three) years standing.
OR - A Chief Language Officer of the Legislative Department holding a Degree in Law and having 3 (three) years experience as such officer or with 2 (two) years experience as such officer if he has previous experience as an Advocate for at least 3 (three) years.
- A Language Officer of the Legislative Department holding a Degree in Law and having S (five) years experience as such officer or 2 (two) years experience as such Language Officer if he has previous experience as an Advocate for at least 4 (four) years.
