Assam Police Recruitment 2020: State Level Police Recruitment Board (SLPRB) invites online application from the intending candidates for filling up of 40 existing vacancies in the rank of Platoon Commander under Directorate of Civil Defence and Home Guards.

Pay Scale: Rs. 14000- 49000 (Pay Band No. 2) plus Rs. 8700 Grade pay
Eligibility Criteria for Assam Police Recruitment 2020:-
- Essential Qualification: The candidate must be a graduate in Arts, Science, Commerce, or equivalent stream from a recognized College / Institutions affiliated to a recognized University.
- Other Qualification: NCC ‘B’ Certificate OR Home Guards Training Certificate.
N.B. The persons having a graduate degree but not possessing NCC ‘B’ Certificate OR Home Guards training Certificate are not eligible to apply.
Age limit: 18-38 years
Relaxation for Upper age limit:-
- 5 (five) years in respect of candidates belonging to SC, ST (H), and ST (P).
- 3 (three) years in respect of candidates belonging to OBC/MOBC.
Height (Minimum)
- Gen / OBC / MOBC / SC: Male-162.56 cm, Female-154.94 cm
- ST (H) / ST (P): Male- 160.02 cm, Female- 152.40 cm

The candidates who did not apply earlier in pursuance to advertisement dated 19-03-2020 due to non-completion of graduation (minimum Educational Qualification) at the time of advertisement or other reasons, can submit online application w.e.f. 17-08-2020 to 26-08-2020 through SLPRB website www.slprbassam.in. However, the candidates who applied earlier in pursuance to the advertisement issued on 19-03-2020 need not apply again.
