Educational Qualification for Army ASC Recruitment 2023:
- Tin Smith: Matriculation or equivalent from recognized board. Should be proficient in trade work.
- Barber: Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized board. Should be proficient in trade work. Conversant with duties of the respective trade with one year of experience.
- LDC: 12th Class or equivalent from a recognized board or University. Should be proficient in trade work.
- Civilian Catering Instructor: Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized board. Diploma or Certificate in Catering from any recognized institution. Desirable to have one year of working experience in catering as an instructor.
- Cook: Matriculation or equivalent from recognized board. Must have knowledge of Indian Cooking and Proficiency in trade. Desirable to have one year of experience in the trade.
- MTS (Chowkidar): Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized board. Should be proficient in trade work.
- Painter: Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized board. Should have knowledge of Painting.
- Carpenter: Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized board. Should have knowledge of Carpentry.
- Fireman: Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized board. Must be conversant with the use and maintenance of all types of extinguishers, hose fittings, and fire appliances and equipment’s fire engines, trailers, pumps, and foam branches. Must be familiar with the use and maintenance of first-aid fire-fighting appliances and Trailer Fire Pumps. Must know elementary principles of Fire Fighting methods employed in fighting different types of fire.· Must be conversant with foot and appliance Fire Service Drills and be able to perform the task allotted to the members of the fire crew.
- Fire Engine Driver: Matriculation or equivalent from recognized board. Should be proficient in trade work. Must have at least three years experience of driving heavy vehicles and be in possession of a valid driving license.
- Tradesman Mate (Labour): Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Institution. Should be proficient in trade.
- Cleaner: Matriculation or equivalent from recognized board. Should be proficient in trade work.
- Civilian Motor Driver: Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Institution. Must possess a valid driving license for both heavy and light motor vehicles. Should have at least two years of experience in driving motor vehicles.
- Vehicle Mechanic: 10th Standard pass from a recognized Board. Capable of reading numbers and names of tools and vehicles both in English and Hindi. One year of experience in his trade.

Note: Written examination and Skill/Physical/ Practical tests, scheduled to be conducted in ASC Centre (South)/ (North) Bangalore (Karnataka) Only. No correspondence regarding the change of examination centre will be entertained.
