APDCL Recruitment 2023: Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) invites online applications from intending eligible candidates for the recruitment of 320 Assistant Managers & Junior Manager Posts in Assam Power Distribution Company Limited (APDCL).
1. Name of the Post: Assistant Manager (Electrical)
No. of Posts: 79
Pay Scale: Rs 37,300.00- 1,12,000.00, Grade Pay: Rs 14,200.00
Age Limit: 21 – 38 years as on 01-01-2023
Educational Qualification:
- Full-time B.E/B.Tech with minimum 60% marks in (Electrical Engineering/Electrical & Electronics Engineering)
- In the case of SC/ST candidates, a Minimum 50% mark in the qualifying examination for a Bachelor’s Degree.
2. Name of the Post: Assistant Manager (Civil)

Pay Scale: Rs 37,300.00- 1,12,000.00, Grade Pay: Rs 14,200.00
Age Limit: 21 – 38 years as on 01-01-2023
Educational Qualification:
- Full-time B.E/B.Tech with minimum 60% marks in Civil Engineering.
- In the case of SC/ST candidates, a Minimum 50% mark in the qualifying examination for a Bachelor’s Degree.
3. Name of the Post: Assistant Manager (Human Resources)

Pay Scale: Rs 37,300.00- 1,12,000.00, Grade Pay: Rs 14,200.00
Age Limit: 21 – 38 years as on 01-01-2023
Educational Qualification:
- Two (2) years full-time MBA/PGDM Degree with minimum 50% marks with specialization in (Human Resource Management/ Personnel Management/ Industrial Relations/Social Welfare) from any Indian University/Institution approved by AICTE/UGC.
- In the case of SC/ST candidates, a minimum 55% mark in the qualifying examination of the MBA/PGDM course is required.
4. Name of the Post: Junior Manager (Electrical)
No. of Posts: 215
Pay Scale: Rs 25,000.00- 92,000.00, Grade Pay: Rs 1,200.00
Age Limit: 21 – 38 years as on 01-01-2023
Educational Qualification:
- Full-time Diploma with minimum 60% marks in (Electrical Engineering/Electrical & Electronics Engineering)
- In the case of SC/ST candidates, a Minimum of 50% mark in the qualifying examination of the Diploma course is required.
5. Name of the Post: Junior Manager (IT)
No. of Posts: 16
Pay Scale: Rs 25,000.00- 92,000.00, Grade Pay: Rs 1,200.00
Age Limit: 21 – 38 years as on 01-01-2023
Educational Qualification:
- Full-time 3(three) years diploma with minimum 60% marks in IT/Computer Science and Engineering/Computer Technology from any Institution which has been notified/recognized by the Government of Assam and approved by the Director of Technical Education/AICTE.
- In the case of SC/ST candidates, a Minimum of 50% mark in the qualifying examination of the Diploma course is required.
Other Criteria:
- The candidate must be an Indian Citizen as defined in Articles 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India and must be a permanent resident of Assam.
- The candidate must produce PRC issued in Assam for the educational purposes/Voter ID/Employment Exchange Registration Certificate as proof of residency with the application.
