Educational Qualification:
- Master’s Degree in Arts /Science/Commerce from recognized University with minimum 55% of marks.
- B.Ed degree from a recognized University
- Minimum 5 years of teaching experience in any Government / Semi Government / Government recognized / Private reputed CBSE/SEBA affiliated Senior Secondary (10+2) School / College including JNV/KV.
- Good communication skills in English, Hindi and local vernacular language.
- Good interpersonal skills, management & leadership quality,administrative ability & integrity, and computer proficiency.
2. Name of the Post: Graduate Teacher
No. of posts: 15 posts
Educational Qualification:
Post Graduate Teacher (Arts):
- Post Graduate Degree in Arts from a recognized University with minimum 55% of marks in both Graduation and Post Graduation in the respective subject and
- Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) from National Council for Teacher Education recognized Institution(s).
Post Graduate Teacher (Science):
- Post Graduate Degree in Science from a recognized University with minimum 55% of marks in both Graduation and Post Graduation in the respective subject and
- Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) from National Council for Teacher Education recognized Institution(s).
Note:
- The candidates must have passed class 12th or equivalent Examination with English as the medium of instruction.
- Apart from the Competency in Major subject, he/she must be proficient to teach two additional subjects.
3. Name of the Post: Graduate Teacher

Educational Qualification:
Graduate Teacher (Arts):
- A Graduate in Arts with Major (Honours) from a recognized University with minimum 55% marks and
- Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) from National Council for Teacher Education recognized Institution(s).
Graduate Teacher (Science):
- A Graduate in Science with Major (Honours) from a recognized University with minimum 55% marks and
- Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) from National Council for Teacher Education recognized Institution(s).
Note:
- The candidates must have passed class 12th or equivalent Examination with English as the medium of instruction.
- Apart from the competency in Major subject, he/she needs to have expertise to teach one additional subject and one language subject (Bodo in BTR; Bengali in Barak Valley and Assamese in Brahmaputra Valley)
Graduate Teacher (Hindi):
- Pravin/ Ratna in Hindi with 55% marks and degree qualification with 55% marks or post Graduate degree in Arts with 55% marks with Pravin/ Ratna in Hindi with 55% marks from any recognized University,
Or - BA with 55% marks and having Hindi as one of the subjects with 55% marks or post Graduate in Arts with 55% marks provided that he has passed BA with one of the subjects as Hindi with 55% marks in Hindi

- A Graduate in Arts from recognized University with a minimum 55% marks and
- Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) from National Council for Teacher Education recognized Institution(s).
Assistant Teacher (Science):
- A Graduate in Science from recognized University with a minimum 55% marks and
- Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) from National Council for Teacher Education recognized Institution(s).
Note:
- The candidates must have passed class 12th or equivalent Examination with English as the medium of instruction.
